One-in-six Australian business schools in Times Higher Education Top 100

Thu, 29 Sep 2016

Six out of Australia's 39 university business schools, faculties or colleges are listed in the 2016-2017 Times Higher Education World University Rankings’ of the top 100 universities for business and economics.

This league table judges world class universities across all of their core missions, using 13 separate performance indicators. It is a ranking of universities’ overall broad provision in the fields of business and economics, as opposed to a ranking of individual business schools or specific degree programmes, and it covers academic prestige and research excellence as well as the teaching environment with an emphasis on the undergraduate experience.  Only institutions with significant undergraduate numbers in these fields are considered, so graduate-only institutions do not appear.

The list of subjects used to create this ranking includes:

  • Business & Management
  • Accounting & Finance OR Business and Economics: Business & Management and Accounting & Finance (combined)
  • Economics & Econometrics

See ranking.
